I dropped out of Chocolate Boot Camp and Nano. I am just going to take some me time. At first I thought that it would be good to just keep moving forward, even though the chance of catching up was nigh on impossible. I thought it would it keep me busy, take my mind out of this universe and I could focus on my story universe. Butt on ball, hands on keyboard worked to produce words, but not words I cared to keep. My heart was elsewhere. If it feels right I'll write, of course, but I'm not going to push myself.
You've got other things on your mind these days. You'll get back to writing when the time is right.
ReplyDeleteFor most of the past year I did the same thing. Too much trouble, too much heartache and stress to commit to anything. I needed to just go with the flow.
ReplyDeleteBest of flowing luck to you. xx oo
Bless your heart. We will miss at bootcamp but, of course, if you do write and you want to report word counts, you're always welcome. Take care of yourself.
