Supermoon

Party in the sky tonight.

A Supermoon occurs when the moon is making its closet approach to Earth and turning full.  A supermoon looms in the sky appearing brighter and larger than a typical full moon.

From what I've read this moon will appear up to 30 percent brighter and 14 percent bigger than a regular full moon.  (here's a link to local moonrise times).

  2. We won't see the tail end of Haley's but I hope we see the moon. It's definitely making my patients and the techs, crazy.

Ps - glad you got to make part of the sprint today. There are 2 more on the calendar for next week!

    1. The moon will do that.

My stupid car has been having issues and something they said would be a quick minute to check took them all freaking day. I would have taken my small computer with me had I know. I should be able to make Friday's for at least one hour, maybe 1.5.

    1. I could not really tell that it was all that much bigger. But the brightness, that was something you couldn't miss. DH mentioned the need for sunglasses ;)
