This is so me and DH

The night of the Supermoon, while we were waiting for the event, Doug was saying that's Saturn, and there's someone else, and whosie faceit is over there.  I saw stars.

  2. Gotta love Foxtrot. I don't mind the details at all but I don't remember the names very well... so I am not the one saying, "Oooh look at Alph Centarus over there"

    1. DH taught me a way to remember the stars in the big dipper - he does it with his Astronomy class. But I have to admit -- I don't remember any more. ;)

  3. I don't know them and won't remember them but I am impressed by people who do.

    1. It is impressive to know all the stars -- my brain is not big enough to contain all that knowledge.

  4. When I was a child my dad taught me how to find the big dipper, Orion, and Gemini. So walking out under the stars and picking out a couple constellations is a Happy Inner Child activity for me.

  5. Yeah, I see stars too. My dad would be ashamed though 'cause he imparted a LOT of his self-earned astronomical wisdom to me when I was a kid. But I kind of forgot it all. Still want a telescope though ;)
