Crazy things I've heard...

"Well, in this business if you aren't hit in the head with a baseball bat, you are doing it wrong."

I was on the way to the head.

I said, "I NEVER want your job."
They laughed.

"Can we get the garlic mom?  It will keep the vampires away."

I didn't comment.  Given the coloring and look of the kids I assumed a sleepover and didn't want to make it worse.

It seems that there was another thing, but I'll be damned if I can remember.

  1. The first I was at work. We share space with lots of different companies. I thought the title industry was the low man on the totem pole. I was sooo wrong. Can you imagine going to work knowing your life was EXPECTED to be hell. At least at my job, there is hope that it won't be. ;)))

Second was the grocery. It was sooo cute. Had it been girls requesting the garlic I could have said, "Team Jacob, eh?"

  2. There's a whole "overheard at" bunch of websites--I used to follow the one for my university. SO funny.
