Irish Sea Water Guardians

Oooo- This was very interesting to me as our family goes back to the Isle of Man.

Water guardian fairies are of small stature and are sacred to the Sea God Manann. They are said to be surrounded by a greenish blue light. They guard the Irish seas and are said to float on broken eggshells or surf on Irish seashells during storms.
They are said to have originated on The Isle of Man, though water guardians are known throughout the world. Also known as Sea Sprites, Manx Undines, and Undines; their element is water. They are fiercely protective of their own, but are still disposed to help all living things in need on the sea, if they are specifically asked to do so.

Sooo when the boat goes down, hit the Epurb, call out to the Water Guardians and when you see an eggshell floating by don't assume someone didn't dispose of their trash properly. It might be your rescue floating by.

  1. I'll just stay away from boats. I can't imagine something small enough to ride on an egg shell being of much assistance. Hey..where were they when the Titanic went down?

    1. It has been fun trying to find creatures from A-Z. I won't use them all, but they'll always be in the back of my mind when I need to pull something out during Nano. ;)
